Bright Spots

Look in the woods and there is little here to appear to be springlike. The snow is gone but it usually doesn't hang around too long here in southern Indiana. There are lots of brown leafs on the ground from Autumn and the branches of the trees still bare though some have tiny buds. Some early flowers have emerged such as the daffodils. That is always a sign for me that it won't be long before the soft green comes and flowering trees blossom. I like that! I'm still here and there with blogger and the whole concept of circles is confusing to me. I've been seeing people have added me to their circle from remote places and I know nothing of them. Some are friends of friends and I check out their pages and try and get a feel for it before I add them. Really I am too simple or this is confusing to me. Nanook and I walked at river walk park yesterday. She was so delighted to ride in the car and happily sniffed at all kinds of things walking. I thought she was going to pull me in the water after the ducks when she saw them! It's almost Easter weekend. It is the time that reminds me of the blessed hope I have in Christ Jesus. Where would any of us be without hope? Jesus, for the joy set before Him endured the cross though He despised the shame. He conquered death, hell and the grave. He has provided for me a bright spot to help carry me through times of darkness and sorrow. He lives and the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead speaks comfort, healing, life and peace yet so much more into my life each day. He knows my needs and His mercies are new every morning! Thank God for the bright spots!

  1. Cheryl, don't get too worried about the circles, etc. Just post on your site, and it will all work out. I know what you are talking about, and at first I tried to find everybody, but finally just let it go. Enjoy the friends you have here, post your daily 'doings' and don't fret! God is good.

  4. Love your photos, always! I agree with Linda. Don't let the "circles" bother you too much. People add me to their circles all the time - I don't know why and I never hear from them, because I post my blogs only to my "blogger friends circle". They show up as "limited". I feel like my posts are a little more private that way. Those people I don't know, can't see what I've written. Nanook is such a beautiful dog!! I'm so glad he is yours!

  5. Hi Cheryl! I love your photos and isn't it exciting that spring is finally making it's way? What a long winter it has been. We are suppose to get thunder storms today..YAY!! I agree with the others..don't worry about the circles. I do what Terri does..I only post my blog to the people that I have in my "Multiply Friends" circle. That way I am only letting certain people know that I have posted. Have a wonderful week and God Bless!
