We are home and my heart is full.
I am busy unpacking and had to take a break toupload some of the photos. I think I will have plenty to keep me busy for awhile. It's a funny thing that as much fun it is to travel and see far away family and beautiful places it is always great to get back home as well.
The Key 🔑 To Simplicity
Sometimes smooth , sometimes bumpy,
rolling along the highway,
trying to occupy my mind as my legs grow restless.
Some of the scenery doesn’t change for hours , after awhile it’s all the same.
What can I do but stay strapped in and enjoy the ride?
I know the destination leads me home
Where at last I can unpack this over packed van.
Why did I take so much along with me?
What matters the most is really the key,
The people I love and the beauty I see.

DeleteI am unsure what the tree is but it looks like it didn't make it, still beautiful in a rustic way. This was taken downstate Michigan in Petosky and the water was an emerald color on Lake Michigan. It was cool because the way the water was that day it was like we walked to a small island over the shallow water
