I’m going to give this a try although I’m on my phone. I can’t seem to comment or do some things the same way on this device but I want to say it’s been great down here in Florida seeing my family and even meeting some new friends! Thank you ladies for welcoming me at your luncheon and thanks Terri for inviting me. It was nice meeting Pam in person. I was hoping somehow I could this time!
It’s great also to get away from the snow and ice storms we have been having in Indiana! Brr! My husband Pat and Zi have been visiting with family , walking and enjoying the beauty here in Winterhaven and Lakeland. There’s so much to love!
Really I do feel blessed . As my friends know here I have fought since 2022 with cancer. In 2024 I had a reoccurrence but I completed the chemo and my scans and blood work have been clear! We never know what can happen and though I realize my futures totally in Gods hands He makes a way for me each new day. It’s nice to be able to stay here a longer time without having to go back to chemotherapy but even through that I have met some of the most amazing people and I hope I can find a way to show my appreciation and maybe help others.
Well this is so much fun, my grandchildren here are loveable and entertaining.
I do miss my youngest grandchildren though. My daughter sent me a photo from Julian this am.
Thank you for your friendships, some I’ve known awhile and some new. Looking forward to getting to know you more

I'm so glad you got to meet these ladies. I've known them all through my blog for some time. So cool to meet in person!
ReplyDeleteJulian is so cute. Enjoy your time in Florida!
We had such a nice time!! I'm glad you arrived in time to join in on our blogging friends' lunch!! Julian is adorable (so is Oliver!)!! Lakeland and Winter Haven are both lovely cities!! I'm glad you are getting out to enjoy them!! xo
ReplyDeleteSuch a cutie pie with a great smile, Cheryl! I know you miss him, but it's great that you can see your other grandchildren in Florida. So happy that you could join Terri and the blogging ladies for that lunch, too. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI can only seem to comment under anonymous for some reason on my phone but will get back to blogger on my computer at home. It’s so nice here! Walked with our grand daughter Amelia this am
ReplyDeleteI came here to visit you after seeing the group picture on Terri's blog. I met her in person in 2017. I've been blogging since 2005, but I don't have time to visit lots of blogs, so I don't have that many blogging friends anymore. Anyway, I really enjoyed browsing through your posts. You're all about your grandchildren, and so am I!!! My husband battled lymphoma for quite a few years from 1996 to 2014, but praise God, he's been cancer free now for ten years! I pray the same for you!
ReplyDeleteLook at that precious smile! Julian is a handsome fellow!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad Terri brought you to our lunch this past Saturday. Your persistent faith through all you've experienced is a testimony of God's presence in your life.
