Sunday Roses and Sniffles

My life is not perfect but I am blessed and everything seems to be coming up roses in my front yard. The second round of roses has begun. I brought the rocking horse out for our 2 year old grandson because we are painting the room we keep it in. I also brought toys out for him but I am enjoying the rocking horse being in here. It looks so cute. I am staying home today because I have the sniffles and keep sneezing. Wouldn't be too good sitting through church that way surrounded by people. Good to know God can speak to our hearts everywhere and He does if we listen closely. He certainly has created so much beauty.

  1. Hope you feel better soon. Should you test for Covid? You're right, the physical location of where one is really is a bit irrelevant. My Dad used to say that all the time. Especially when he wanted to go fishing on a Sunday morning. He always said you can't get any closer to God than in a fishing boat.

  2. I will see how I’m doing. I don’t think it’s covid . If It continues or gets worse I will but in the meantime staying home. We had Covid and I remember losing taste and smell and feeling awful. We quarantined. Also had vaccines but I know sometimes people get it again. I know what your dad meant lol not that I fish myself but my husband does. I love nature I feel so close to God in the quiet beautiful places. Thanks for stopping by

  3. Lovely post. I stayed home today also because the scratchy throat I've had all week became a very sore throat yesterday. My hubby has also been sick/coughing all week, but was tested and was negative for Covid. There's a lot of cold viruses going around now too. I'm glad people are more aware now of how important it is to stay home when you have anything potentially contagious. Our bodies need the rest, and we don't want to spread our germs around. But colds and viruses we have had and will have with us always. Not everything has to be covid. Sometimes we just need to exercise our common sense. I know God understands when we can't make it to church. He provides His beautiful creation and blessings all around us, if we just open our eyes to see. This was lovely.

  8. I'm just fine. I think maybe a bad case of hay fever or allergies. There was actually an air quality alert Sunday for or county, My eyes water today but it's typical for me many times in Spring and Summer. Worse now that I am older. The day was a little cooler it was low 80s today. We have been having stifling hot and high humid in 90s
