Family means more than the world to me. I think if I would win a lot of money I’d want to buy nice and meaningful things for my grown children , a home , a car whatever they need the most. Fortunately I have everything I need the most God, family, food and shelter and beautiful places to see in nature. This week is all about family. We are at a place in Tomahawk Wisconsin. A home owned by my son in law’s employer and he gets to use it a week of the year. It’s by the beautiful Wisconsin river. It’s quite different than our Florida stays but everything has its own beauty. It’s quiet here and we have a river at the end of our yard. It’s the Wisconsin River cool and clean and deep blue on days like today. I’m appreciative of this quiet place. Sure we have a 3 yr old here but he’s delightful. I love his little voice and how excited he gets about new things. Kids help to remind us to take joy in the ordinary
We ate lunch at a restaurant that the food was delivered by. Little train! How cool is that?
We hiked at the state park.
Today is the first day of September and also national ovarian cancer awareness month. I’m very aware but also blessed. It was a great 1 day of September.
You never know where life may take you but trust in God will get you through!
Keep healthy and have recommended tests , screenings . I sure had no idea what was happening in my body but someone was watching over me! I try and be positive living a day at a time. I’ve come through a lot wonderfully. God was with me and Gods with me through my future too
Sun is setting we’re at our vacation home

Oh, my goodness, Cheryl, what a beautiful place to visit, especially with your family! As we recently returned from being with our grands, I can certainly identify with the joy you felt when being with them. Keep on your journey to healing, knowing our God walks with you.
