Just a blog of pictures today. We went to an antique tractor show with the kids and grandkids this weekend. It was cold and drizzly for most of it but I dressed warm with a winter jacket and knit hat on. Later we went to our oldest sons place and had hot cocoa and hot soup. The little ones laughed and played and it was noisy but a joyful noisy. I bought some handmade items from the flea market. It was fun. Fall is definitely here. We heard from our son Justin in Lakeland Fl. They seem to be settling in well and the oldest 3 daughters have gotten involved in the church young adult group. They will be 18, 19 and 19 this November. My goodness how time flies! Wishing you all a joyful weeek!
Family lifts each other up in support and love!
Time to roll along now for me. I need to try and get on a cleaning mood. My husbands outside doing stuff in the cold . It’s in the 40s I think! Too cold for me!

Oh, I love seeing the old tractors! They bring back memories for me, too. I think my Dad's tractor was a red Farmall, but I'm not sure now. Looks like a really fun day for the family, and the hot cocoa and soup sounds yummy! We are finally having some cooler weather here in Florida, maybe not as much in Lakeland where your kids are, but up here in the northern part the high will only be 68 today, which is chilly for us! I love it, and the sun is shining brightly! So happy you could get out and have such a lovely time!! Thanks for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteThe silver tractor looks just like the one my Uncle Harris had back in the day! Loved all your photos, Cheryl. It looks like the entire family had a great time together.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
The orange skinny vehicle and the one with the big yellow wheels, what are they? I guess unusual tractors. They are my favorites. Fun trip, and you have a beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!! I am trying to find an evening to have Justin and family over for dinner. My cataract surgeries are done and I'm healing well so time to get them over for a visit!! You have an awesome family, Cheryl!! Looks like y'all had a good time, even in the cold and rain!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to see those old tractors. My Dad used a red Farmall and whenever I see one it brings back memories for me.
ReplyDeleteGlad the kids are settling in well in Lakeland. It's so special that they are near Terri!
