Happy weekend

Good afternoon. I think I’m going fishing with my husband and youngest son later this afternoon. I usually walk and take pictures but this year I got a license to give it a try. It’s hot out but not as hot as it has been.

Today was no fun. I had to get an ultrasound on my gallbladder area because I’ve been having some mild to moderate pain. I think from my chart things aren’t bad but it’s hard to understand all that medical language. The scan was easy the hard part was having a late afternoon appointment when I was told not to eat or drink anything after 7:30 am until after the scan. Foods one thing but I got so dry and thirsty. I have a dr appointment Tuesday. I’m thinking I won’t need surgery but I do have some small gallstones. I’m done with surgery after the last couple years but time will tell. Ultimately I just do what is advised by the professionals.

I’m sitting here and glancing out the window too. There’s a pretty red bird and a dove on the feeder. Nice to see.

Keep on the bright side!

I think I’m gonna take a nap, my tummy is so happy to have food in it again 😆

  1. Hi Cheryl, the cartoon with the turtle made me laugh! Thank you so much for that. :) As far as your health goes, I will keep you in my prayers. Warm greetings from a 68 year old retired lady living in Montreal, Canada.

  2. I love the cartoon of the turtle. I helped rescue a turtle today from the street back to the pond, so I have turtles on my mind! I am sorry you've been having gall bladder issues. I do hope you won't need surgery...you've already been through so much. But gall bladder surgery today isn't what it used to be, they have made such strides in doing things simpler and less invasively. But still I pray you won't need to go that route. I hope you went fishing and caught some fish! That would be fun!! Take care and God bless you.

  3. I'm glad you got to make your tummy happy again!! Sure hope you don't need surgery for the gallstone, but trusting your doctor is a good choice. I enjoyed your cartoons!! Have a blessed weekend, dear friend!

  4. Please let me know how the doctor appointment goes. I had my gallbladder out years ago. They don't even cut you open. they just go into a little hole with a tiny camera and pull it out! Easy Peasy.

  7. Gall bladder problems run in my family. I had surgery for it in 1994 (at the age of 44) and it was the easiest surgery I've ever had. It was the kind with the tiny incisions and such an easy recovery. I pray your issues are resolved soon.
