Picture Perfect Sort of Day

Today is the kind of day where you wish that the temperature would be like this all year. My husband and I and the dog took a ride to the Park & met up with our son and had lunch with him on his work break. It was a really nice day for him to work since there were cooler temperatures and he works outdoors at the Park.
We walked through some trails. This wooden bridge was on one. It was so neat it kept winding all around like  a little maze.
Everything was so clear and the sky so blue. I love the white fluffy clouds.
Nanook had her nose right in the ground here digging like crazy! Must have been a mole or something. She was having the time of her life! I would take a deer picture but Nanook scared the beautiful deer away we saw!
We sat in this spot to rest after hiking. It was so beautiful and peacefilled.
Even though I am inside resting for awhile it is nice. I have the windows open as it is cooler out and there is enough of a light Fall like breeze.

There isn't a lot of foilage color yet but it won't be long before Autumns song! It is just starting!

"I cannot endure to waste anything as precious as autumn sunshine by staying in the house.
So I spend almost all the daylight hours in the open air.
-  Nathaniel Hawthorne

"In the other gardens
And all up the vale,
From the autumn bonfies
See the smoke trail!

Pleasant summer over
And all the summer flowers,
The red fire blazes,
the grey smoke towers.

Sing a song of seasons!
Something bright in all,
Flowers in the summer
Fires in the fall! "
-   Robert Louis Stevenson, Autumn Fires
