We went to a theme park with the little one today. Last year he was too small for the rides but this year he’s having a blast.
We bought seasons passes so we can come and go as we wish. Sometimes it’s just good to spend a couple hours and not get too tired. I’m still having some residual pain from my surgery so I think I’ll check with the dr soon. I can function mostly it’s intermittent sharp pain by my belly button and it comes out of the blue. I’m just ready to be done with it all!
Anyways I’m home resting now. I’m healing but sometimes the process leaves us tired for awhile.
Sunday was a good Fathers Day. We had a nice meal and went to a park. The guys fished and the kids played. The sunset was pretty!
Saturday we went to theKentucky Railroad museum and Thomas the Train was there. Oh my but the little one was excited! We are just living a life of adventure!
One of my sons is moving to Florida with his family close to where my friend Terri is ! That probably means we will visit even more as time goes by. I love it there and look forward to our next trip in January.

I'm so glad you got to do this as a little break, despite the pain. Please let us know what the doctor says!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun with the kids! The setting there is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteSorry you are dealing with that pain. I hope the Dr can figure out the cause and deal with it.
There's nothing better than enjoying family, Cheryl. Oliver does look like he's having a grand old time!
ReplyDeleteHope your bouts with pain will lessen as the days unfold. Blessings!
I'm sorry you are still having so much pain and hope the doctor can give you some help with that! You remain in my prayers!! I am so excited that your son and his family are moving right here to Lakeland!! It will be so fun having you visit more often!! I really enjoyed all of your photos, Cheryl!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have been having a great time with your sweet grandson and family. I can understand how tiring it can be for you, however, and you do need to pace yourself and rest often. It takes time to fully recover from all you've been going through in the past year. You are making great progress, however! Beautiful pictures! I enjoyed this and will keep praying for you as you recover.
