Country walks and flowers

K

It’s a beautiful time of the year and I’m starting to feel well enough to walk up to the farms or around the neighborhood.

There are flowers everywhere. I planed some flowers and did crafts yesterday at the oncology place. They are having cancer survivor week for everyone going through treatments or finished with them and they had free crafts gifts and info. I painted a cross with craft paint.

Today we went shopping then to lunch. I wore my flower cap. My wigs scratch my head but the turbans feel soft and comfy. My hairs so short , kind of like a short burr so I don’t want to go without a head covering yet. It will be interesting to see what grows, curly , straight, brown or white. Before this it was mixed with a lot of silver on the front and sides.

Enjoy each day because it’s a gift. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery but today is a present! Enjoy!

  1. You look radiant...and your flower cap is beautiful, just like you!! So very happy for you! It will be interesting to see if your hair comes in very different. I've often wondered what would happen if I ever lost all my hair. I was a natural redhead, but it's pretty much gone over to brown and gray. I always thought it would be neat if it came back in red again, but I don't want to go through what you've been through to find out. I'll bet your hair will be beautiful, no matter what color or style! God has been so good to answer our prayers on your behalf. And I can imagine all the flowers and trees and green grass look even more vibrant and beautiful to you now!! Yes, each day is a gift from God. We need to treasure it for sure!! Thank you for this wonderful post.
