One reason a dog can be such a comfort when you're feeling blue is that he doesn't try to find out why. ~Author Unknown
It took having a sweet , gentle 4 year old Siberian Husky coming into my life at a time that I was working through a lot of things such as grief , depression and anxious feelings to remind me how precious and unassuming is the love of a dog. I love my family, I love my friends but the funny part is that they don't always get it when I am feeling blue. There are times I don't need anyone to try and find out what is troubling me or even help fix it. My dog doesn't know why I am sad sometimes , she just knows I am sad and she is there by my side to offer comfort in her own way.
Some of my friends have cats, some dogs, some both . I'm so happy to have my dog.
You are so right...our pets love unconditionally and dont ask questions. Have a nice day Cheryl.
ReplyDeleteThey are such a blessing. I truly forgot how much joy they can bring. She had the best puppy. We love Leo and he's so sweet and playful. Play ball mom! Come on! Makes us laugh :) I'm so happy nanook came into your life. She's made a difference in our lives too :)
ReplyDeleteAs an animal lover and someone who probably shares too many dog pictures on facebook, I agree. I hope you and your dog are together for many more years.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I've experienced that same blessing!
ReplyDeleteNanook is beautiful, Cheryl, and I know what a blessing having a pet is. We have cats now, but I have had special dogs in my life and may again someday. She has sure been a blessing for you!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie patootie! I love the saying in you little picture with Nanook!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about our dog, even though she is a beast!
