Yesterday morning the theme at church was about Jesus as our Great Shepherd. Each Sunday there will be about 3 people who do a gospel reading. Pastor asked me if I would mind reading Psalm 23. This Psalm has ministered to me so many times throughout my life. This week it is ministering to me of a quiet place where there is healing and grace. I wrote the poem this morning. I love the outdoors. The picture is from last year by the water at a park near home.
