Goodbye St Augustine Florida till the next time
This was my phone today checking into the weather forcast. It was the last day to be in the SUNSHINE STATE for awhile.
We had hoped to visit with our friend from Florida , Terri but it seemed best to head back north the faster route and get the little one, Oliver and his mommy back home. I am sure they are missed greatly by our son in law and dog Zorro. Oliver has been the picture of cuteness on this journey. As many pictures of him I have already I think I should start a blog, Adventures With Oliver.
The weather forcast at home is only 32F today but it is suppose to go up to 50s and 60 soon so we escaped the worst of it. It was yucky weather at home while we were away. Now Spring is just around the corner! That is a great feeling. My daffodil leafs were starting to sprout up when we left. It will be sometime in March for them to flower all bright and yellow. Daffodils look so cheerful. Not long now and things will brighten up!
I am sending this from my cell phone. The pictures are from my phone too. I will share more when I am home.
Have a lovely day!

Glad you had such a nice trip! And lots of precious time with Oliver!
ReplyDeleteThanks we should be home Sunday. It is nice to go and nice to get back too. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend
DeleteWe probably passed you on the road somewhere. We went over to St. Augustine yesterday to meet a cousin who was visiting. We met at my son's store there and had a nice visit. We also rode along beside the beach for a while, but couldn't get down on the beach and drive as the sand was too soft and we almost got stuck. But it was a beautiful day. I'm so glad you had a nice time and that your little Oliver had lots of fun in the sun! Now have a safe trip home. There's no place like home, even if it is much colder!! Spring is coming!
ReplyDeleteWe are still on the road only a few hours today though. It’s not quite Spring here but there are some early signs.
DeleteNext visit to Florida it will be just my husband and I . This one was a family fun time. Little Oliver had a blast!
It will be nice to visit as a couple too. We can come and go as we please and stay longer if we wish. In the morning we would quietly walk out to see the lovely sunrise over the ocean . One day our daughter and baby went with us. They liked to sleep later 😀 Soon the flowering trees will start here. April and May are our prettiest Spring months. So it’s all good but I sure love the ocean a lot!
I am home now. I noticed my comment posted 7 times yikes! I was posting from my iphone.
