Historical Weekend with a Toddler

If you have seen the movie, A League of Their Own this is the stadium where the movie was filmed. We went to the park for a while by the stadium, but Oliver was more interested in the trucks and what the workers were doing outside. They were doing some work inside and outside of the stadium. Oliver got a chance to run around the big ball field on our lovely 62-degree February afternoon. It was just what he needed after our lunch out!

Later after he napped, we took a walk to the grade school, and he got to play on the equipment. He enjoyed pushing his car around too!

It's fun having a toddler in the house, but our grandson does keep us busy!

This morning we went to the museum in town, and he just loved the children's area with the trains to play with. He loves trains. There is a LOT to see but we mainly just hung out at the children's part.
 

After the museum we had lunch then we walked around Home Depot for a little while. We needed to pick up some light bulbs and some paint sample. We have a lot of Spring projects to work on soon!

Oliver got so tired after his fun time he started falling asleep in the cart, so we checked out and now we are home, and he is sleeping.

It sure can be a wonderful world!
