Mid Week
Hello from southern Indiana where we have been enjoying some more rain along with periods of the sun breaking through the clouds. The difference this time is that it has warmed up to more normal temperatures.
This coming Sunday will be Easter. I am trying to decide what to wear. The picture above is from way back when my sister and brother and I were kids. My sister and I are wearing Easter dresses mom made for us. I am in the yellow polka dotted swiss dress. I loved that dress so much!
I am not sure if we will get sun or rain Sunday. Growing up in the upper peninsula of Michigan often meant snow. I'm glad it doesnt snow often here this time of year. Rain is easier to live with.
Hope you have a good rest of the week. We are going for a ride up to a place overlooking a river to have lunch tomorrow. The trees are blossoming more now and the red buds are out. I will try and take some pbotos. It is a lovely drive.

Have a blessed Easter, Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed Easter too Martha !
DeleteI've been trying to decide what to wear Sunday, too. I did get myself an Easter corsage!! Thinking of my dear grandpa, who always got his "girls" a corsage for Easter. xo
ReplyDeleteAh that was so sweet of your grandpa. It’s nice you got one for yourself in his honor. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteIt's been raining here in Michigan too, and very windy! I haven't decided what to wear on Sunday either.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed and beautiful Easter! I don't worry too much about what to wear on Easter because I sing in the choir and we wear choir robes, so no one really sees what I am wearing anyway, except in Sunday school before church. But we are mostly retired folks here and no one seems to go all out with new dresses for Easter anymore. Can't find a decent dress in the stores anymore anyway! I remember dressing up as a child. My mother usually made my dress, and we got to get new white shoes, purse, and gloves. We wore hats when I was real little, but by mid-elementary school no one was wearing them anymore. Too bad. I love hats. But can't wear that in the choir either! LOL. Praise God, Easter really isn't about what we wear.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful Easter too. You are right Easter is about celebrating our risen Savior Jesus! We are so blessed!
ReplyDeleteMostly people at my church are casual dress but I still enjoy dressing up . I know God looks at our heart and loves to hear our praises . Our life should be a praise too and how we show His love towards others.
So nice you sing in a choir. I used to long ago . We don’t have a choir anymore. I love choirs
