Our Hike

Thursday morning my husband and I took a drive out to a couple of scenic places that we love to visit in the Spring.One of them was Hemlock Cliffs. Hemlock Cliffs is a good place if you like to hike. It is not that long of a trail (only 0ne mile) but it has a lot of climbing some steep and rough terrain. I should have worn hiking boots but didn't know we would end up here. It worked out OK though. The waterfalls are seasonal so Spring is a good time to go. We got to see both of the falls.There are beautiful sandstone rock formations, overhangs, cliffs and rock shelters along with unique plants and trees.

It was so beautiful walking through the woods! I love to see the little wildflowers everywhere!

I will share some of the other places we visited at another blog time. It's been a beautiful weekend filled with lovely sites, I am so thankful to have eyes to see them and the strength to visit them. This is Spring and things are bursting forth into new life. It has been so great to spend time in God's beautiful creation.
