Morning Song

Be not discouraged oh child of God and know that He’s your strength and song. Although the night may seem so long, He’s singing over you.

Oh come to where the waters flow, That bring sweet healing to your soul, Let the sunshine of His love and grace, Direct you towards a higher place.

Rise up ,rise up on wings of prayer Where faith and hope replace despair, Release to Him your every care,

I wrote the poem on this day back in 2020. It was a difficult year for a lot of us. It always brings me peace to go walking at the Parklands. That is where the photos were taken. I like to take my camera but if I don't have it I end up taking photos over my cell phone.Sometimes I wish I could capture the warmth of the sun, the scent of the Spring flowers and bottle them up to realease them when it is gloomy and gray. Taking pictures helps. I can look back at them and remember the beautiful places I have been so blessed to enjoy.
