First Day of Spring
I am tired but it was a very good day. The sun was shining and it was 62 degrees , yesterday was very cold. Tomorrow is suppose to be 70 which I will glady be thankful for.
I don't have a lot to type right now. I just want to wish you all a lovely week and Happy Spring!
The photos are not current. I'm just going through some memories. I found lots of Spring photos and tons of grandchildren photos.
Precious to me! I love how they delight in the simple things.
Good night!

Lovely images of spring. Is that a pear tree?
ReplyDeleteIt is a Bradford Pear . They are shaped like pears but bear no fruit. First trees to get flowers in Spring and they look shaped so nice. My brother in law does have a real fruit bearing pear tree , the only one I actually remember seeing. Sometimes we take fruit home in season. It’s good cut up and cooked in a skillet with some cinnamon and sugar. Happy Spring 🌸
ReplyDeleteJust noticed your comment on my blog and visited here in time to enjoy your precursor of spring photos. I know that feeling of having it just over the horizon, enjoying the warm days that tell us spring is coming. I'm beyond grandchildren playing on green pastures - but they bring their children who want to pet the goats and cows while enjoying the few copses we have, believing they are in a forest. Aren't children such a wonderous blessing?
