Sunshine and Flowers

Sunshine and Flowers
‘Tis my faith that every flower Enjoys the air it breathes! -William Wordsworth

What a cold drizzly day it is but I see the yellow daffodils and the flowering trees. It surely must be Spring. Spring is a time when things start bursting forth in new life but that certainly doesn't mean there wasn't life in the first place. The trees don't look alive in the winter but once Spring arrives everything setarts to change. Life is full of seasons as well. Sometimes everything seems so dormant but when the right conditions arrive so do the signs of new life. I've been feeling a little inbetween seasons. I know God has new things and that the hopes and dreams He has placed within my heart are there for a reason. I may not see the things I want to see but non the less God is in control and it shall be well.

  1. I enjoyed this post, and the two little quotes/pictures so much. Yes, spring is here, but we may not always feel the joy of springtime because of other "issues" going on in our hearts and lives. But new life is still bursting forth even in the difficult places. We learn from the trials we go through. And it is good to have a little dream bubbling forth from within too. It keeps us moving forward even when we feel like giving up. Always keep that hope alive. God is with us no matter what or where we are! Have a blessed and beautiful day.

  3. Even when the trees and flowers are dormant, they are full of life. We know they will show that life when spring finally arrives.

  5. It's cold and drizzly here too - and actually snowed last night. But some daffodils are popping up and even saw a few leaf buds. I love Spring!

    1. We are suppose to get a heavy frost tonight. It snows sometimes here too in March or early April, usually doesn’t amount to much. I hope the flowering trees will be ok. Sometimes the flowers freeze
