Tuesday’s Trinkets and Treasures
The little Jerusalem vase is a gift from a friend. I love it. It is small enough to hold the Springs early violets and the minature daffodils from my yard .
Some of my most precious jewels are not precious stones but precious children. They are genuine gems that sparkle with life and bring laughter and love to many hearts. The world can have its gems and jewels but my grandchilden are more precious than gold and jewels.
The photos of the children are my three youngest grandchildren The curly head boy is our grandson the other two are great grandchildren. We had a family visit Sunday.
Trinkets and treasures may lose value in time or become lost but grandchildren help our hearts to grow in love. THERE IS ALWAYS toom for more!
we are expecting another great grandchild in June.

Your grandchildren are so beautiful. And I love the tiny vase, it is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ginny. We are watching our little grandson here overnight. He is so much fun
DeleteLove that beautiful little vase. It is perfect for small buds/spring flowers. And you are right...your grandchildren are precious jewels...a true gift from God. Your grandson with the curly hair reminds me of our grandson when he was little. He had a head full of curly brown hair too, but he liked it cut real short in a buzz. Now that he is 22 I notice that he has it a bit longer, and it is still very curly. He is our only grandchild, and we really miss seeing him. He lives in Maine. However, he recently got engaged, so my hope and prayer is that someday I will have some great-grandchildren to love too! You are doubly blessed!
ReplyDeleteI love curly hair. Congratulations on your sons engagement I pray they have a long happy marriage
DeleteOh, Cheryl, I'll have to agree with you that grandchildren are the most treasured blessings on earth. I miss mine so much, as they live in North Carolina and we are in Georgia. We're planning on having our oldest granddaughter spend time with us in June. I'm counting down the days!
ReplyDeleteYour grands are precious, by the way!
Enjoy the time with your oldest grand daughter
DeleteGod sure does bless us
Your grands are definitely precious gems! I'm having lunch with two of mine on Sunday. They are 32 and 26 though... and still precious gems!
