Tuesday’s Trinkets and Treasures
I thought about doing something a little different for each Tuesday . Since I enjoy the comfort of home I thought it would be a great thing to post a picture of something that I cherish. If you would like to join along it would be great fun! It doesn’t have to be something expensive but it can be. It can be anything from a dandelion that a child or grandchild gave you to something ornamental or a favorite coffee cup. Anything is fine. What matters is that it is special to you.
I may do this for a couple months. I have no set time but I think we all have treasures.
Mine for today is this little angel figurine my mom sent to me for a birthday gift. It has long brown hair like I have or rather had. Now my hair is streaked with silver. There is also a bird on it. I have always loved birds. My dad’s nickname for me was sparrow for as far back as I remember.
My parents are not living now but their love and legacy lives on. I have so many treasured memories. I had a wonderful childhood.
Have a great day!
